Born and raised in Sweden Alexander de Freitas has spent more than one decade in the Executive Search industry in China, first in Shanghai and now in Hong Kong, most recently as Partner for a global executive search firm.

For the majority of his career in search Alexander has been focused on helping world-class companies in finding senior level talent, primarily within the consumer and technology spaces. He has partnered with Fortune 500’s as well as privately owned companies and start-ups.
&nbsp;
Alexander speaks English, Swedish, Mandarin Chinese, and has a good understanding of Danish and Norwegian. Apart from work he is actively engaged in the Swedish community in China through various roles within the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, most recently as Board Director. In his spare time Alexander enjoys playing tennis, sailing, and hiking across the various trails of Hong Kong.
