  • Buzz Bingo, a 300m revenue UK based omni-channel business has embarked on a new transformational journey with the new group CEO Dominic Mansour.
  • A major change across the business was necessary in order to drive revenue and growth through business efficiency improvements and innovation. The business had aging technology which requires drastic need for modernisation through evolution and long-term planning.
  • This role would be pivotal in delivering significant change in the business performance and be bold enough to accept this challenge.

Challenge

  • Finding an individual who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and make necessary changes within the business for the long-term success and growth. A strong candidate with experience in development and execution of a cohesive technology and digital transformation strategy in alignment with the business goals.
  • A complex hire, to find an individual who would not shy away from the challenges and potential roadblocks that may stand on the way, but also aligning with the company culture and the overall, ambitious vision of the company.

Coming from his previous role at Card Factory, he presented himself as someone with strong strategic and commercial acumen, as well as having a vast experience in creating business and IT strategies that align with different business visions which was an important asset to a CTO position with Buzz.
  • David’s rich experience in taking a business from one level to another, during his time at Fennick, where he transformed the company’s old technology and lack of digital presence into an omnichannel business, was exactly why we saw a strong potential in him stepping into this challenging transition that was necessary for the company’s ambition.
